In today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world, an essential skill is learning to develop and strengthen our inner and outer resilience.

In this workshop, we will explore a series of practices to help us tap into our inner resources and develop the outer strength we need to navigate life’s challenges with grace and ease. We’ll move through a strong, dynamic asana practice, breathwork and meditation to strengthen our physical bodies, balance our minds and connect with our inner wisdom.

We’ll also explore the concept of resilience and how it relates to our practice, including an understanding of what yoga philosophy has to teach us about strength and resilience.

Winter is Coming - A Winter Wellness Workshop

Winter is a time where Kapha (the energy of earth and water) is high, with a strong undertone of Vata (the energy of ether and air). This can lead to stagnant, stuck feelings in the body. The lack of sunlight in the UK at this time can cause seasonal depression and heaviness in the mind.

In this workshop, we’ll explore some simple ways to support body and mind through Winter. We’ll move through a warming and invigorating yoga practice to shake off any stagnant energy and help you feel energised for the busy winter season.

Kali - Goddess of Transformation, Time and Destruction

In this workshop, we’ll be exploring the teachings of the Goddess Kali. With her garland of skulls, her sword of discernment and warrior appearance, she is a fearsome and yet deeply misunderstood deity.

Expect a potent mix of yoga asana, guided meditation and breathwork, storytelling, philosophy, journaling / inquiry, as well as the opportunity to share and reflect with your fellow workshop participants.
